GOAL is long established in Sierra Leone and has teams in Western Area Urban (Freetown), Kambia and Kenema Districts. We contribute to poverty and vulnerability reduction. We focus on maternal, child and adolescent health, rural water supply, urban waste management and promoting social inclusion and decent work.

 

GOAL is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Sierra Leoneans to join our health team and partners to improve the reproductive, maternal, new born, child and adolescent health services in Sierra Leone.  Candidates are invited to apply for the vacant post, whose particulars are given below:

Location: Bombali 2, Kambia 1, Koinadugu 1 and Moyamba 1.

The DCM role will be involved in a wide range of activities from providing direct clinical mentorship/training and Support to the DHMT and facility staff.

 

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced Clinical Health Officer or Midwife with at least five (5) years’ experience. You will possess sound knowledge of district health systems in Sierra Leone and have experience in providing clinical mentorship/trainings in Sierra Leone, including on RMNCAH-related areas will be preferred. Excellent English and Krio skills, both speaking and written, will be needed.
