• Work closely with Local councils to review and activate the LBS curriculum and implement LBS classes in programme-identified safe spaces • Ensure that one-on-one mentoring is delivered to adolescents girls upon completion of the LBS course and that each girl receive adequate and holistic support to identify transition goals and develop individual business plans • Ensure that competitive start-up/growth grants are provided to young girls graduating from the LBS course and that these grants are utilized in accordance with the individual self-identified pathway for each girl, based on the results of the local market analysis • Under the supervision of the District Supervisor, work with the M&E officer and the BLN officer to support identifying safe spaces for young girls receiving LBS courses. This includes ensuring that the spaces are girl-friendly, protective and conducive to effective learning • Ensure that instructional material are effectively used by young girls and safely kept by the custodians of the safe spaces • Set to regulate termly meetings with communities and young girls are held and that meetings have agenda, issues and action points, all of which are documented • Submit weekly work plans to the District Supervisor, including needs for any logistics and procurement arrangement for the purpose of the implementation of LBS courses. • Identify, resource, train and coach LBS mentors. This includes working closely with the local community key stakeholders to identify female leaders and positive role models, train them on the LBS curriculum and coach them to support and guide adolescents girl throughout the process of determining their transition goals • Closely work with LBS mentors, young girls and the communities to develop individual self-identified transition pathways for each girl and support LBS mentors to provide regular follow-ups to ensure the implementation of the identified plans for each girl • Effectively obtain, allocate and utilize resources allocated to the Program’s by supporting the District Supervisor in providing the LNGB Program Manager with all needed data and information required

• Organize and provide leadership for community meetings across our operational communities • Coordinate and collaborate with other community volunteers of the ministry of health and sanitation, IRC Consortium partners for partnership building and joint activity implementation • Provide support to field officer and program coordinator in the management of the adolescent friendly center • Develop weekly and monthly work plan and share with Field Officer (FO). • Ensure that all the poor and vulnerable households in the villages are reached with community awareness raising on RMNCHA and family planning services. • Conduct joint outreach sessions with both the health center staff and other consortium partners’ staff. • Monitors and guides members of the school health club and other youth groups • Leads community data collection for enhancement of community involvement, participation, transparency and accountability • Organize and participate in all weekly meetings and facilitates the meeting process to inculcate the best practices aligned with quality standards • Write weekly and monthly report on a timely basis

• Attended and actively participated in program orientation and refreshers trainings which equip my capacity to effectively rollout the project activities in line the donor requirements. • Developed weekly and monthly work plan with attach budget and submit to the manager for review and approval. • Facilitated Sexual Reproductive Health, Gender, and Life skills trainings for Adolescents in-and out-of-school ages 9 to 19 years and Community stakeholders in remote communities. • Conduct life skills curriculum training in partnership with Ministry of Education and community school teachers which built their capacity and fostered project sustainability in their communities. • Conducted radio discussion, trainings and community sensitization on health issues on Access to Health services especially for pregnant women, Lactating mothers and children under-five and general population which improved the health status of the population • Closely worked with the DHMT, Community Health Workers (CHW’s) and health facilities workers that Adolescents boys and girls have access to health facilities needed such as family planning services, treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, and other clinical services and advices. • Conducted community awareness raising event on prevention of teenage pregnancy, early marriages, important of girl child education and on Gender and human rights. • Form school health clubs which served as activist groups in conducting regularly sensitization within schools on teenage pregnancy prevention, contraceptives and personal hygiene. • Conducted Sexual reproductive health and Gender Based Violence session for community stakeholders and societal heads with a key focused on teenage pregnancy prevention, Equality, Age limit for Female genital Mutilation initiation for girls and the laws on it. • Actively Participated in project planning and review meetings with a special focus on project successes, challenges, Lessons learnt, activities, Time line, budget available and recommendations. • Develop weekly and monthly work plan with team based on the overall project activities and timeframe.

District Community Based Mobilizers-Lead

• Trained and Supervised 10 Community Based Mobilizers and supported them to carry out their SRH services community engagement and increased demand. • Technically supported the Community Based Mobilizers (CBM’S) which created high demand for all available short-term family planning methods (eg. Condoms, Pills, Injectable), and long Acting & reversible contraceptives methods (LARC) e.g. Implant, & IUD) and permanent methods (Tubal Ligation) and PAC services. • Conducted community engagement meetings with Adolescent girls, stakeholders, and caregivers on the importance of using family planning especially to prevent early and unwanted pregnancy and enable girls finish their schooling. • Worked with DHMT and peripheral Health Unit staff to raise awareness on the use of contraception, and birth spacing. • Provided technical support and direction for the deployment of polices, strategies, standards and tools at District and community level. • Supported the feedback systems to CBM’s, supervisors, outreach teams and the community members which fostered quality program delivery. • Conducted regularly radio programs on MSSL health packages availability, accessibility and affordability. • Closely worked with the project team which made us to achieve our monthly and quarterly MSSL targets • Supported the outreach team in the district to develop monthly and quarterly work plans. • Timely submission of project activities reports.
