Job Description

About ChildFund

ChildFund is a global community of people who care about children and take action to help them live at their fullest potential at every stage of their lives.

We are people who believe that we all have a lot more in common than we think. That every child – like every person – is of equal worth and value, indispensable. And that each of us has a part to do.

We are people who know that we can’t afford to lose a single child to hunger, violence, disease or neglect. And that when children grow up healthy, educated and safe, everyone wins.

Partnership Objectives

To diversify our partner base, in addition to the existing five partners, ChildFund will develop a new partnership focusing mainly on research. Through a detailed partnership mapping exercise and assessment in accordance with ChildFund’s partners enlistment benchmarks, the new partners will work and support our local and grant partners in all our districts of operations. The research partners will support the CO to collect, analyze and process program and grants/projects data that would inform program planning and decision-making to enhance efficiency.

Methodology

The research partner is expected to fully understand our Country Strategic Plan and our Global M&E Platform. Through our Monitoring, Evaluation, Knowledge Management and Learning Specialist (ME & KML Specialist), the research partner will utilize the ChildFund Global M&E platform to collect, analyze and process program and sponsorship data that would inform program planning and decision-making to enhance efficiency. The research partner in collaboration with the ME & KML Specialist will make sure all our current M&E processes and tools are aligned to the Global M&E platform to ensure adequate and effective program design, planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, knowledge management and learning.

On a periodic basis, the partner will be consulted to conduct different research using appropriate research methods and research techniques, produce topnotch reports and provide strategic advice that will inform our strategic vision.
