About Candidate

I am a Public Health and Development practitioner with more than 20 years of national and international professional experience including 14 years to date with PMI/USAID-funded projects, including in Rwanda, Burundi, Benin, and Sierra Leone, the current position being that of Chief of Party for PMI Evolve Sierra Leone project, providing leadership, management, strategic direction, managing risks, and leading decision-making for disease prevention interventions, including malaria.

I am an alumnus of Tulane University, USA (Master of Public Health and International Development), Université de Bouaké-Cote d’Ivoire (Master of Medical Entomology), and Institut Supérieur Pédagogique de Bukavu / DR Congo (Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and teaching methods). Other short-term academic training courses are with Jiangsu Parasitic Diseases Institute (China), Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), and Ifakara Health Institute (Tanzania).

I completed my international assignment in Sierra Leone in December 2024.  Currently, I am looking for a position of Chief of Party, Senior Advisor, Country Director, while managing my own company “Pelican Plaza”.

- Managed financial planning and execution for malaria prevention projects in four African countries, ranging from $3 million to $9 million
- Coordinated with stakeholders to build capacity and provided overall guidance for successful projects
- Analyzed project frameworks, and implemented robust security measures
- Managed a diverse team, and developed and implemented a performance monitoring plan,
- Supported the Ministry of Health in creating an Integrated Vector Management Technical Working Group
- Maintained Abt Associates' reputation for delivering and adhering to policies and procedures.
