Concern Worldwide Disclaims Fraudulent Recruitment Advertisement

Concern Worldwide Sierra Leone wishes to inform the public that a fraudulent job advertisement is currently circulating on social media and other online platforms falsely claiming to offer employment opportunities with Concern Worldwide.

The fake advertisement includes unauthorized contact details and requests payment from individuals in exchange for employment opportunities. Concern Worldwide strongly condemns this scam and wishes to make it clear that:

  • Concern Worldwide does not request payment at any stage of its recruitment process.
  • All official vacancies are advertised only through Concern Worldwide’s official recruitment channels; https://www.concern.net/vacancies and career.sl hosted by IDT Labs
  • Any individual or group requesting money on behalf of Concern Worldwide for recruitment purposes is acting fraudulently.

Members of the public are advised to exercise caution and avoid engaging with suspicious individuals, phone numbers, or social media posts claiming to represent Concern Worldwide recruitment without verification.

Concern Worldwide encourages anyone who receives such messages or encounters fake advertisements to report the matter to the nearest police station or relevant authorities. The organization is also taking steps to address the issue and protect the public from further exploitation.
