About Candidate
Mohamed Sallieu Barrie is a social campaigner and peace activist. He has a background in Peace and Conflict Resolution, and International Security respectively. He received the University of Sierra Leone Banquet Award for best graduating student in 2013, and the Rupert Thorneloe Award for Leadership and High Achievement at Cranfield University in 2016. Mohamed is an African Union Youth Volunteer Alumnus, Obama Leader, Rotary Peace Fellow, Positive Peace Activator, and an IEP ambassador respectively.
Furthermore, in 2018, he was deployed to Lesotho, Southern Africa by the African Union Commission at the Ministry of Social Development, to serve as a technical expert in the campaign to End Child Marriage in Africa.
