I am a young lady with 8-year post qualification experience working on Gender and Youth related programs with adolescent, girls, boys, young men and women. My previous experience with the National AIDS Council, Musasa and other organisations involved working for the vulnerable Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Programs funded by the Global Fund, UNFPA, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to mention but a few. My duties, among other things, included Youth advocacy, community mobilization and sensitization, identifying and supervising young community volunteers involved in gender main streaming programs and vulnerable male and female adolescents activities and programs. Among other duties, I have done monitoring and evaluation, research and documentation, conducting support and supervision visits for effective and efficient Program implementation, training, capacity building and coordinating logistical arrangements for Gender Based Violence Issues and Behavior Change activities. I have had an opportunity to be groomed by Queen Mary University of London and Zvitambo Institute for Maternal and Child health Research as an early career Researcher. I have such great passion working with the youth for youth and currently leading qualitative formative research work.

I have also had an opportunity to partake in a number of research work including an analytical assessment of Gender mainstreaming in the SADC Regional Integration Agenda. Roles included assessment of the extent of alignment and harmonization of the National Policies to Regional, Continental and International instruments on Gender so as to assist effective gender mainstreaming strategies and gender sensitive programming for SADC and its member states. I am a holder of a Master of Science in Development Studies, Bachelor of Science Honors in Sociology, Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation & Project Management. I also possess a certificate in mixed methods data collection and analysis (quantitative and qualitative Research).
