This course trains someone with the necessary advocacy skills to become a Public Health Advocate which enables someone to advocate for policy formation, policy change, or policy implementation.
The course lays premium on health policies that support health equality for all especially for the less privileged and women across the globe, with the aim of providing conditions that support healthy living for everyone.

Who is public health?
Public health promotes and protects the health of all people and their communities.
This science-based, evidence-backed field strives to give everyone a safe place to live, learn, work and play.
The main goal of Public health is to improve people's quality of life there by preventing diseases, promoting awareness raising, and prolonging life. This helps children thrive and grow well, it also mitigates human suffering, and saves money.
It is more focused on the health of the general population instead of individuals.
This course prepares one to contribute to community level developments through the implementation of health activities such as awareness raising on disease prevention measures including as environmental sanitation, provision of WASH facilities in deprived communities, and promoting good treatment behavior
Work & Experience
1. Supervision and Monitoring of malaria activities at the community and Healthcare Facilities Levels using Supervision/monitoring checklists.
2. Ensure quality diagnosis, treatment of malaria, and LLINs distribution through mass campaigns and continues distribution in the District.
3. Closely work with partners such as Ubun2, MSF, CRS, on supervisions and malaria activities implementations with PHUs, ICCM Camps, CHWs, and CAAMTA/CAAM groups
4.Receives, compile and safely keeps data on activities for future consumption
5. Extracts and Analyze data from DHIS 2 to inform decision making, and prepare presentations for DHMT and Partners meetings
6. Prepare and adhere to monthly supervision plans.
7. Facilitate training on malaria case management to the required staff of Healthcare Facilities in target chiefdoms.
8. Coordinate project activities with partners, MOHS, and other stakeholders.
9. Receive, compile, and prepare reports on malaria interventions from all government healthcare facilities within the district.

1. Monitored Healthcare staff and vaccination teams to ensure efficient vaccination intervention across the assigned chiefdoms, including the VVM tracking.
2.Traced and Identified missed children, and missed communities and ensured that they were all vaccinated.
3. Ensure proper house markings were done by vaccination teams.
4. Gave feedback and recommendations on review meetings to WHO, the DHMT, and partners
5. Compiled and sent final report at WHO head Quarters for National and Global consumption
6. Assisted in the transportation of Vaccines to communities with vaccines shortage
