Oversee and supervise the daily activities of the Supply Chain Department Which compose of Fleet Management, Procurement, warehouse/stores and Assets Management and also provide technical support during operations.
Work & Experience
• Supervise the warehouse Assistance and oversee activities of the Parliament warehouse to ensure that efficient warehousing systems and procedures are maintained.
• Conduct regular weekly spot checks and report to the warehouse Manager on the general stock status, and as to whether the parliament delivery, storing, and tracking system are adhered to by the Warehouse Assistance.
• Conduct quarterly stock valuation exercises for the warehouse.
• Ensure monthly submission of Warehouse report to the warehouse Manager
• Ensure that all assets and property are properly managed in accordance with The Sierra Leone Hose Of Parliament policies.
• Maintain and regularly update the asset list and asset register.
Oversee the daily activities of the Fleet Officer and provide technical support during operations.
Ensure that all assets and property are properly managed in accordance with MoPADA-SL policies.
Supervise the warehouse Assistance and oversee activities of the MoPADA-SL warehouse to ensure that efficient warehousing systems and procedures are maintained.
• Establish and maintain systems that allow the free and easy receipt of all procurement requests. These requests should be logged therefore enabling him/herself to track the overall procurement lead time. His/her supervisor will then monitor this time to ensure that the MoPADA-SL procurement policies are filled out following the requirement of the correct paperwork.
• Collect the required number of quotations/bids according to the MoPADA-SL Procurement Procedures. This should be achieved quickly and then presented to the requesting manager in a professional manner by recommending the successful bid.
• Identifying potential vendors/suppliers with required market necessities of MoPADA-SL in his/her region and establishing an accountable and transparent system of business on behalf of MoPADA-SL by strictly following the MoPADA-SL vendor relationship as indicated in Procurement Manual.
Oversee the daily activities of the Fleet Officer and provide technical support during operations.
Assist the Field Coordinator in the setting of guidelines and enforcing IRC’s regulations concerning vehicle usage.
Ensure that all assets and property are properly managed in accordance with IRC policies.
Ensure proper tracking of all IRC assets movement and issuance, including continuous maintenance and updating assets master list for review by the Field Coordinator.
Supervise the warehouse officer and oversee activities of the IRC Kenema warehouse to ensure that efficient warehousing systems and procedures are maintained.
Conduct regular weekly spot checks and report to the Field Coordinator on the general stock status, and as to whether the IRC delivery, storing, and tracking system is adhered to by the Warehouse Officer.
