 AC Technician (HVAC Technician) 

Job Title: Air Conditioning (AC) Technician 

Location: Freetown 

Department: Engineering / Maintenance 

Reports to: Chief Engineer 

Job Purpose

To install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor comfort  for guests and staff. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems. • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems. • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Monitor cooling systems and ensure energy efficiency.
• Maintain logs of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience 

• Diploma or Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning from a recognized technical institute (e.g., Freetown Polytechnic or equivalent). • Trade Test Certification (Grade I, II, or III) is an added advantage. • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. • Experience in hotels or large facilities preferred.
