Job Description

Sierra Leone Red Cross Society (SLRCS) is a humanitarian organization that believes every human being is
entitled to a life of dignity and opportunity. With the help of our partners, staff, and volunteers, we
work in vulnerable communities to improve the lives of vulnerable Sierra Leoneans.
SLRCS is in the process of creating a database of pre-qualified vendors and service providers under
different lots. The purpose of this advert is to assist SLRCS in the identification and evaluation of
potential suppliers (including our current and previous suppliers) who may subsequently be invited to
tender or submit quotations for the supply of goods and/ or services within the specified category. If you
feel you are qualified, you can submit bids for goods and services under any of the categories.
Bidders cannot bid for more than three lots of related services or goods.

CAT 008 Supply and delivery of building and plumbing materials
CAT 009 Supply and delivery of electrical equipment
CAT 010 Provision of Printing and Photocopying Services.
CAT 011 Provision of ICT Equipment, Internet/Telephone consultancy services
CAT 012 Provision of Hotel Accommodation and Conference/meeting facilities
CAT 013 Provision of Freight Forwarding/Courier Services
CAT 014 Provision of office maintenance (Air conditioner, electrical, welding and

carpentry services)

CAT 015 Provision of vehicle maintenance services, including supplies of spare parts
CAT 016 Provision of catering services for training purpose
CAT 017 Provision of hall rental services for training purpose

Information and Documents required by SLRCS
To qualify for consideration, your organization MUST provide the following complete set of documents
with your application:
1. Copy of Certificate of Business Registration with the appropriate registration entity, or
incorporation, or trading license
2. Evidence of Tax registration and compliance in Sierra Leone (Updated NRA Tax Clearance
Certificate or GST Registration, NASSIT Certification
3. Evidence of similar services performed or supplies delivered in the last 2 years, with references
and the cost involved in providing and or delivering past services/supplies
4. Evidence of Audited Financial Statements
5. Customer database, which should include your main customers for the past two years from an
International Non-Governmental Organisation, UN agencies, or Government Institutions.
SLRCS reserves the right to cancel or continue with this procurement process at any time.
SLRCS provides bidders the same information and/ or the same opportunity to obtain information, and a
minimum amount of time (three weeks as advertised) is considered for the bidders to prepare and
submit their bids.
SLRCS reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
Soft copy of the application packages will be forwarded to the interested vendor/services provider via
his/her email address(s).
Kindly contact the SLRCS Country Office (HQ) in Freetown, # 6 Liverpool Street, and our branch offices in
Bo, Kenema, Pujehun, Kailahun, Kambia, Makeni, Moyamba, Bonthe, Karene, Kabala, Kono, and Port
Loko (Private /Business Email addresses of vendors/service providers are shared with the Procurement
Unit, Branch Manager in the accessible region for soft copy of the application package).
Completed application package clearly marked “Pre-qualification of suppliers/Service Providers 2026”
must be submitted to the nearest SLRCS office as stated above in a sealed envelope(s) clearly indicating
the category no (s) on or before 17:00hrs , on the 10 th of March, 2026.

Note: SLRCS office is open on Mondays to Fridays from 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 pm,
Once the submission date of the BIDs has passed, SLRCS will evaluate all submitted responses. SLRCS will
undertake a capacity assessment of the successful vendor or service provider after the pre-qualification
and evaluation exercise.
Only successful participants will be notified by email of the outcome of the exercise.
SLRCS will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the Bidders in the pre-qualification process.
Note also that any form of Lobbying, apparent, real or perceived Conflicts of Interests are grounds for
disqualification.
