Request for Proposal (RFP) for Sub-Receipient

 

 To Support the Government of Sierra Leone and Local Partners to Increase Access to and Use of Essential Life Saving MNCH Services and Commodities in Sierra Leone

In Sierra Leone, Jhpiego works across various districts in close collaboration with national and district health management teams in a variety of technical areas, including community health, HIV and AIDS, Maternal and Newborn Health, health workforce capacity development in-service, malaria, and IPC/WASH.

 

About the MCGL Project

MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership, funded by the U.S. Department of State, is a global mechanism that saves lives and improves access to quality, integrated health services by distributing lifesaving commodities, medicines, and vaccines, and providing critical health care services for pregnant mothers and children under five. The project provides safe childbirth for mothers and babies, vaccinates children, treats deadly illnesses and malnutrition, and controls disease outbreaks. 

 

The JHPIEGO MCGL project now invites qualified and competent local civil society and faith-based organizations /institutions in Sierra Leone experienced in the field of maternal,  newborn, child health, and nutrition implementation at the community level,  with specific functional physical operations in Pujehun, Bo, and Port Loko, to apply for a sub-grant to assist the MCGL project in achieving its strategic program objectives through community-generated solutions and proven innovations. 

 

The MCGL project anticipates making three (3) fixed-amount awards (FAAs) in total (one per district) to local/indigenous civil society organizations (CSOs) and faith-based organizations (FBOs) serving as implementing partners and agencies to lead and further enhance community-level interventions.

 

Collection of Bid Document.

Interested bidders may collect the detailed RFP and scope of work at the JHPIEGO National Office at #1 Sonia Drive, Hill Station (back of City Super Market), Freetown, or send a request for the documents to the following email address: slprocurement@jhpiego.org. Starting from the 27th to the 10th of December 2025, between the hrs of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm daily. Please note that the Jhpiego office will not be open during weekends or public holidays.

 

RFP Queries and Clarification Process

Any queries regarding this RFP must be sent in writing via email no later than Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, to: slprocurement@jhpiego.org. A written reply to the questions will be sent to all

organizations applying.

 

Submission Information

The Proposals must be delivered by hand to the JHPIEGO National Office at #1 Sonia Drive, Off Regent Road, Hill Station, Freetown, Sierra Leone, or via email to slprocurement@jhpiego.org

 by 2:00 PM GMT on or before Friday, December 12th, 2025.
