JOB TITLE: Finance and Administrative Officer

The Finance and Administrative Officer play a pivotal role within the company. Primary duties and responsibilities

The Finance and Administrative Officer have the following responsibilities:

Finance

  • Drawing up the annual budget and monitoring expenditure and investments.
  • Assessing investment risks.
  • Managing finances and forecasting financial flows.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenues and minimize costs to manage liquidity.
  • Draw up financial statements and accounting reports periodically.
  • Undertake variance analysis and controls.
  • Ensuring cash flow control and monitoring cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Evaluate financial performance and draw up forecasts.
  • Maintains a robust and efficient stock management system.
  • Manage relations with banks and financial institutions.
  • Any other duty assigned by the company.

Administration

  • Drawing up the company’s development strategies.
  • Develop and implement internal control procedures.
  • Ensuring the administrative and accounting processes are operationalized.
  • Manage the office and assets of the company.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of other staff.
  • Ensuring Bids for contracts are processed profitably and submitted in time.
  • Manage relations with suppliers and clients to foster harmonious working/business relationship.
  • Ensures the timely renewal of corporate and statutory documents (licences and certificates).

Terms & Conditions

  • Attractive Salary.
  • Working days and hours: Mondays – Fridays from 8:30- 5pm (occasional extended working periods with reasonable notice)
  • Duty station is Freetown but will be required to travel to other areas of operation as and when the need arises.
  • Entitled to Thirty (30) working days leave annually.
  • Initial employment is a one-year contract.

Qualification and Experience

  • Candidate should have a first degree, or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Must have three years of work experience in a similar role.
