Job Summary
The Finance and Procurement Intern will support the Finance and Procurement Department in carrying out daily financial and procurement activities. The intern will gain practical experience in budgeting, financial reporting, supplier management, purchasing processes, and inventory control while assisting the team in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
- Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
- Help reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
- Assist in budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist with audits and financial reviews when required.
Procurement Support
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Support supplier identification, quotation collection, and evaluation processes.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
- Track orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Assist in inventory management and stock monitoring.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- Support contract documentation and supplier communication.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
