Cashier – SG 4* in Pujehun

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of 10 months. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be in Pujehun.The position is paid according to WHH pay garde

The objectives of this position: To ensure smooth and responsible handling of the petty cash of the project

Your responsibilities

• Manage project petty cash, process approved payments, and maintain accurate cash records and reconciliations in accordance with WHH financial procedures.
• Verify payment documentation, maintain proper financial records, and ensure compliance with WHH policies, donor requirements, and national regulations.
• Support financial operations, including staff travel advances, retirements, cash forecasting, and payment processing for project activities.
• Safeguard cash and confidential financial information and provide accurate documentation to support internal and external audits and financial verification exercises.
• Provide financial and administrative support to the Finance Officer and project management team, and perform other duties assigned in support of effective project implementation.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3—5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within development or humanitarian organizations.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls
