| General mission | Innovent Sierra Leone is seeking a Senior Electrician to join its construction team for the WISP Solar Power Plant project in Waterloo; an ambitious project aiming to produce 30 MW night and day clean energy featuring cutting-edge technology, energy storage and black-start solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the electrical works and supervise site electricians and subcontractors during the construction phase, in accordance with the project’s schedule, quality and safety standards. Upon completion of the project, they will be trained and promoted to supervise the electrical maintenance and operation of the plant. |

- Lead installation, testing and commissioning of LV/MV systems, PV equipment, inverters and batteries;
- Supervise site electricians and electrical subcontractors;
- Interpret single-line diagrams and wiring plans; update as-built documents;
- Perform insulation, continuity and earthing tests; enforce electrical safety and standards (lockout/tagout, PPE).

- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of PV, storage and MV equipment;
- Diagnose faults, manage spare parts and mentor maintenance technicians;
- Monitor energy production performance in collaboration with our French teams.
| Skills |
- Technical diploma or certificate in electrical engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum ten (10) years as an electrician, including two (2) in a lead role;
- Experience on MV/HV or DC installations (solar PV, storage, substations);
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use testing instruments; strong knowledge of safety practices; Proficiency in office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word); French skills appreciated; driving licence required.
