Work & Experience
Map and identify new partners within and outside target communities with interest in child wellbeing outcomes and strengthen their capacity for viable partnership in promoting the wellbeing of children at community level. Build relationship within communities as catalyst, broker and facilitator, working with partners towards high community involvement, support and participation in programme planning and implementation with involvement of relevant stakeholders. Actively support the Area Program Manager in effective programme/project planning implementation, monitoring of all health interventions at field level to enhance community participation and ownership of programme and project activities. Interface with community members biweekly to monitor and measure the progress that the project has made so far. Explore career and skills development to enhance performance and efficiency so that capacity development and transformation of staff, volunteers and Community based organizations (CBOs) is enhanced. Prepare plan of activities (POA) and budgets to match up with the detail implementation plans (DIPs) set out in the Log frame. Provide office support services to Staff by facilitating the procurement of items needed by all Programmes and Projects within the Base according to specifications Manage all Programme stock in and out of the store to facilitate proper project implementation. Undertake online procurement using Pro Vision online procurement tool for capital assets and other working equipment. Ensure Programme/project vehicles go for routine maintenance as well as general service after every one thousand kilometers. Responsible to track all GPS vehicles and fleet coordination. Write monthly procurement report and send to the Support Services Manager for onward submission to the Finance and Support Services Director on or before the 25th of every month Organize venues for workshops /seminars for Base level engagements as and when necessary. Coordinate with service providers to ensure that the appropriate spares are used to fit parts on vehicles, motor bikes and generator sets within the Base Provide accommodation and meals for visitors (International /Local) when they come to the field and ensure they are safe and comfortable Coordinate with service provider (NP S/L) in the issuance of fuel and monitor usage in a bid to check consumption and send monthly report to Fleet coordinator.
Develop and Implement the national office security strategy in alignment with World Vision (WV) security policy in ensuring the operational priorities of the national office are appropriately supported. Work with National Director/Country Security Manager to carry out security Risk Assessments as required/directed. Conduct Security investigations when required. Provide a regular security report to the National office, West Africa region and the office of corporate security. Provide support to the Humanitarian emergency affairs Manager and support to Management in crisis /disaster situations and critical incidents for the World Vision Sierra Leone office. Ensure all security incidents are reported in accordance with World Vision Security protocols.
