NOTICE of Sale by AUCTION (PUBLIC)

The International Rescue Committee Inc. (IRC) is a private international, nonsectarian, voluntary organization. Founded in 1933, the International Rescue Committee is a global humanitarian leader that helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. 

Present in Sierra Leone since 1999, IRC supports the Sierra Leonean institutions – government, civil society, community-based organizations, and private sector – to provide improved social services, decrease youth unemployment and mitigate gender-based violence. IRC does this through programs and partnerships designed to improve the lives of women, youth, and children by implementing Health, Education, Youth, and Gender-Based Violence programming. IRC has a Country Program office in Freetown, and Field Offices in Bo and Kailahun.

This “Notice of Sale” informs the general public that the IRC will offer for sale the below-listed items on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

Interested bidders may inspect the items during office operating hours beginning Dec 4, 2024, to Dec 18, 2024, from (8:30 am to 4:00 pm) available at all IRC Offices located below: 

• Freetown Office:              180 Kandek Drive Off Wilkinson Road

• BO Office: Promise Drive

Offers to purchase must be received by the IRC in Sealed Envelope with earnest money in the form of “Call-Deposit” (AS DESCRIBED BELOW PER THE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES) not later than 5:00 pm by 18th Dec 2024. It is worth mentioning that the bids without a call deposit will be considered incomplete bids and will not be included in the bidding process. 

The “Call Deposit” is refundable to unsuccessful bidders and non-refundable to those bidders who were successful but failed to pay. 

The “Call Deposit” will be subtract from the amount you bided for, if you are successful bidders.

Note: Sealed offer will only be accepted on IRC’s approved bidding format which can be obtained from any of the offices/addresses indicated above.
