Logistic Officer

in Kenema 

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Kenema, Sierra Leone. The position is paid according to our paygrade. 

Handle all procurement activities at field level and support the Country logistics unit with any related procurement task assign 

Your responsibilities :

Provide technical backstopping to partners on Welthungerhilfe policies (and core values) and procurement regulations, Ensure consistent update and reporting on the Fleet Wave management system and training of staff (Including Drivers). Manage the drivers and ensure vehicles are booked before using.

Your profile 

  1. A university degree in related field or its equivalents. 
  2. Job-related professional experience from 3 to 5 years 
  3. Excellent command of spoken and written English 
  4. Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word MS Teams
