Role and Responsibilities

Job Description overview: The Business Finance Lead will play a crucial role in the financial  management of the company’s internet service division. He/she will be responsible for  overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning within the  business unit, maintaining financial always control & keeping the business financially liquid.  The individual will work closely with senior leadership to provide insights into financial  performance, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with accounting  standards, group policies & Statutory compliance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting, and  long-term strategic planning for the internet service division. 

• Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, compare actual performance against  budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to senior management. 

• Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to support decision-making  through accurate financial data and analysis. 

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes within  the division and drive efficiency. 

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, adherence to statutory  compliance and establish robust financial controls within the internet service unit.

• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, development, and coaching to finance team  members within the division. 

• Ensure the management of all company systems are update to date and provide true  & clear picture of the business (QuickBooks & Precoro) 

• Manage all company receivables and payables and ensure they are always at the  minimum threshold. 

• Work with business units & departments in monthly planning & ensure operational  funding is always available. 

• Monitor departmental KPI’s that have financial implications and streamline to meet the  company’s objective. 

• Any other task assigned by management. 

Qualifications: 

• bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA  preferred) 

• Proven experience as Finance or similar role 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

• Ability to make sound financial decisions and provide strategic guidance

• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
