DISPOSAL NOTICE

Plan International Sierra Leone hereby notifies the general public of an upcoming disposal of vehicles (Land Cruiser Hardtop) Generators (Perkins) and Motorbikes from its premises. Please review the following details regarding the disposal:

 CONDITIONS OF SALE:

    1. Each item will be awarded to the highest bidder;
    2. All items are sold on an “as is, where is, and what is” basis, without recourse or warranties of any kind;
    3. Bidders are allowed to bid for more than one item. Each bid should be submitted in a separate sealed envelope;
    4. Prospective bidders can inspect the items on open days from the 10th to the 23rd of December 2024, between the hours of 10:00 am and 03:00 pm at Plan International Country Office, 6 Cantonment Road, Off Kingharman Road Freetown. 
    5. The bid documents can be collected on working days from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm from any of the Plan International offices listed below. Alternatively, you may request an electronic copy by sending a request for bid forms for disposal reference ‘SLE/DISP001/FY25’ to PlanSLE.procurement@plan-international.org  
    6. Bids should be valid for a period of 45 days from the date of the submission deadline;
    7. Bid winners are required to pay for items within 5 working days after being notified of winning; 
    8. Notified winners who fail to pay for the item won within 5 working days will forfeit the item, which will then be offered to the next highest bidder;
  • The successful bidder must collect the items within ten (10) days from the day of the issuance of the award letter. Successful bidders of vehicles should proceed to complete all customs clearance processes within this period and provide evidence to Plan before authorization is given to lift the item;

 

Bids not properly addressed, without the use of the official bid forms, or submitted after the stated deadline will be invalidated; 

Bids should be delivered no later than 4:00 pm on Monday, 23rd December 2024. Bids should be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with ‘SLE/DISP001/FY25,’ and can be submitted to any of the addresses listed below.”
