HR Business Partner

Purpose of the Role

Our HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of strategic plans for Careers SL, working in close collaboration with other departments.

 

Your duties will include performing functions in product & business development, being directly accountable for the implementation of Careers SL business plans and revenue generation.

 

S/he will also be responsible for managing the delivery of all services, including job publications and recruitment services to our clients,

Our ideal candidates should have solid experience with HR practices, such as recruitment management, and must be business-oriented with competencies in business development & project management. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and day-to-day management of Careers SL
  2. Supervise the full & complete delivery of Careers SL services, ensuring the timely publication of all jobs & tender postings and the successful delivery of careers.sl recruitment services following client requests.
  3. Lead the implementation of the strategic plans for Careers SL, collaborating and working closely with other departments and units
  4. Collaborate and work closely with sales, marketing, & client relations to develop sales & market strategies to achieve unit revenue and commercial goals.
  5. Work closely with the sales team to ensure opportunities for Careers SL are identified and diligently pursued until closure.
  6. Ensure ongoing development on the Careers SL website is finalized and completed within set specifications.
  7. Manage the Unit’s client portfolio and foster exceptional relationships with clients.
  8. Collaborate with Client Relations Dept. to conduct after-sales services with clients.
  9. Ensure team members under your supervision update daily reports on careers sl job postings and revenue when required.
  10. Work with management to maintain & improve on the established structure for ongoing performance management and assessment of staff under your supervision.
  11. In consultation with Management, explore new strategic initiatives for the growth of Careers.SL 

 

Key Competencies

The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in meeting revenue targets for our HR Services Department, and as such is expected to be business-oriented with the ability to build and maintain networks in HR communities, develop and close sales opportunities, and deliver on client commitments.

 

Required Competencies & Skills:

  • HR Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and applicable laws and regulations is essential. Especially needed is experience with high-level recruitment.

 

  • Business Development: Experience and knowledge in managing a product, attracting and nurturing sales opportunities to closure.

 

  • Project Management: Experience interacting with clients, planning and executing services to meet client expectations

 

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying HR policies, procedures, and information to employees and management.
  • Conflict Resolution & Employee Relations: Skill in managing and maintaining positive relationships between employees and the organization, addressing conflicts, and resolving workplace issues effectively.
  • Ethical and Confidentiality: A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address HR-related challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of employees and stakeholders.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. 
  • Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in senior HR roles is mandatory. Expected expertise & experience should include product management, business development, and project management.
