PROGRAMME MANAGER – ADVOCAID SIERRA LEONE 

Introduction: AdvocAid is a highly respected human rights organisation, founded in 2006, working  across Sierra Leone to pursue justice for women and girls. 

We are recruiting to the position of Programme Manager to lead the organization’s programming  (strategically and practically), steer a small and brilliant feminist team of Project & Programme Officers  (Freetown, Kenema, Makeni), and project manage the implementation of a soon-to-start two-year  Amplify Change funded programme. You must have: 

  • A passion and vision for AdvocAid’s work 
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and organisation skills 
  • Astute project management skills and experience including experience managing budgets and  financial processes for projects 
  • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to problem solve 
  • The ability to work in a sometimes stressful and always fast paced environment The  willingness to learn
Job Title  Programme Manager
Contract  one year with possibility of renewal
Salary  Salary from NLe 11,000 (eleven million leones) gross per month,  subject to qualifications and experience.
Location  Freetown, Sierra Leone
Hours  40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (with expected flexibility for out of  hours events etc.)
