Call for Applications – Sierra Leone ICT Talent Development Program

The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTl) in Sierra Leone in partnership With Huawei Sierra Leone, and the Orange Sierra Leone, has opened applications for recruits for the maiden edition of the Sierra Leone ICT Talent Development Program.

The Sierra Leone ICT Talent Development Program IS a digital skills capacity development Initiative aimed at empowering outstanding university graduates With 21st Century Information Communication Technology (ICT) skills to enable them to provide digital skills training to secondary school students and traders In Sierra Leone.

This year, 50 youth will be offered the opportunity to participate In a fully funded, one-week intensive training at the Orange Digital Center in Freetown. The training which will be delivered by Huawei experts Will focus on areas such as Cyber Security and Digital Marketing

After the intensive orfe-week training, excellent shortlisted participants will be deployed to train secondary school students and traders across 8 districts in Sierra Leone.

This initiative comes with incentives which Will be discussed With participants upon the final selection.

To take part in this initiative, interested persons must:

• Be a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any ICT related field from an accredited university (certification should be within the past 3 years).
• Possess strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Be willing to undergo intensive training and actively participate in the Community training activities.
