VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
SANITATION AND HYGIENE COORDINATOR
Living Water International (LWI) is a global non-governmental organization that exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience “living water”—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst. Living Water in Africa is providing safe drinking water, Christian Witness sanitation and health education to communities across Africa. Living Water International-Sierra Leone based in Freetown, and Moyamba has a vacancy for an experienced and qualified Sierra Leonean to apply for the position of SANITATION AND HYGIENE CORDINATOR. This role will report to the program Manager.
POSITION: Sanitation and Hygiene Coordinator
LOCATION: Moyamba and Western Rural
RECRUITMENT PRIORITY: Immediately
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
POSITION START DATE: January 2025
Purpose of Position |
Oversees the development and implementation of culturally appropriate hygiene and sanitation programs that strive to initiate and sustain a positive behavior change within the communities. Provides training and support to HS facilitators and communicates effectively with the Program Manager and other staff to ensure the H&S program is integrated appropriately into the overall development plan. Acts as a LWI H&S representative to other WASH organizations or local partners implementing hygiene and sanitation programs. |
