BRAC was founded in Bangladesh in 1972 by Sir Fazle Hasan Abed. It started its first Program outside of Bangladesh in Afghanistan in 2002 and has since reached millions of people in 11 countries in Asia and Africa. BRAC has a holistic approach to development that uses a wide array of programs and social enterprises, including microfinance, education, health, agriculture and livelihood, gender, and human rights. BRAC believes that every person has inherent potential, and when an enabling environment is created and that potential is unleashed, even the poorest can become agents of positive change in their own lives, for their families and their communities. BRAC Sierra Leone is committed to the well-being of its employees and recognizes the importance of providing adequate health insurance coverage. Tenderers are invited to submit Tender for the provision of Medical Insurance. Expression of Interest (EOI) is invited from reputed insurance company to provide “Group Health Insurance Policy” for BRAC employees. The selected service provider will deliver comprehensive health insurance coverage for employees, spouse and their dependents, ensuring access to quality healthcare services in all sixteen districts of Sierra Leone. Bidders must be registered and holders of valid legal documents permitting them to do business in Sierra Leone. The required documents include Tax Clearance Certificate-addressed to BRAC SIERRA LEONE, Certificate of Incorporation/Registration, NRA, Certificate of Registration, Powers of Attorney authorizing the Signatory to the Bid etc. Tender documents can be obtained from 2nd September, 2024 to 27th September 2024 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm from Monday to Friday; at the Procurement Unit of BRAC Sierra Leone Country Office, No. 2 Samuel Bannister Drive, Wilberforce, Freetown Tenders hard Copies must be physically submitted at BRAC Sierra Leone Country Office, No. 2 Samuel Bannister Drive, Wilberforce, Freetown, no later than 27th September 2024, at 4.00 pm. |
