Head of Network 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize network performance,  scalability, and reliability. 

• Lead a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance,  support, and mentorship to ensure operational excellence. 

• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of telecommunications  infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements,  design solutions, and implement new technologies. 

• Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving  issues to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity. 

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network equipment  and services. 

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their  potential impact on our network architecture and business objectives.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, procedures,  and policies. 

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on network  performance, projects, and initiatives. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related  field; Master’s degree preferred. 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering or a related role, with  at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. 

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical  information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and managing high performing teams. 

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to  drive innovation and continuous improvement. 

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) preferred.
