 The closing date for the receipt of bids to this Invitation is 8th November 2024, 13:00 Hours GMT (1:00pm)

 

Instruction to Bidders: 

 

All items are being sold on the condition of “as is”, and without recourse or warranties of any kind. 

Bidders may bid for a single or multiple lot 

Inspection visits are scheduled for Mondays to Thursdays from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at ActionAid Sierra Leone (AASL) offices located at the above addresses.  Contact telephone No. +232 73 461370.

The Currency of the bid and the figures must be in Leones and shall be clearly indicated to avoid ambiguity.  Bids that do not fulfill this requirement will be disqualified. 

The items will be sold to the bidder with the highest offer. In case of the same bid offer, the tying bidders will be requested to rebid. 

All bids must be registered on delivery. The Outer cover shall be clearly marked “PURCHASE OF USED ASSETS.” 

Bids received after the closing date will be automatically rejected. 

The successful bidder shall be notified by a letter of award and request for payment to the organization within 5 business days. The winning bidder must remove the vehicles from the AASL premises within 3 business days after payment. 

If the winning bidder fails to pay to meet the requirements are stipulated above, AASL will resort to the second lowest bidder.

 

  1. AASL will not provide any assistance, either mechanical or manpower, for the removal of the assets. 
  2. The winning bidders are responsible for any statutory fees required while transferring ownership of the vehicles. 

 

AASL has the right to accept, reject or cancel any or all bids.
