ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE SALE OF USED VEHICLES LOCATED AT THE HELEN KELLER OFFICE IN FREETOWN
Helen Keller Intl, a nonprofit organization established in Sierra Leone in 2002, works with the Government and people of Sierra Leone in humanitarian relief, nutrition, health, and agriculture.
Helen Keller Intl has one (1) Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup Van, one (1) Toyota Land Cruiser hardtop, and one (1) Toyota 4Runner (Sport Edition) located at the Helen Keller Intl Office, 16 James Macarthy Drive, Off Spur Road, Wilberforce, Freetown.
Helen Keller Intl invites interested bidders to submit price offers for the vehicles listed below, clearly referring to the relevant lot number for each item of interest.

Instructions to bidders
- All items are offered for sale on an as-is, where-is basis. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicles before submitting an offer, as Helen Keller Intl will not provide repairs, warranties, or guarantees after the sale.
- Interested bidders may inspect the items at the above address from 7 to 18 September 2026 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm each day. Helen Keller Intl will not be responsible for the current condition of the items or for any repairs.
- Bids will be received from 7 to 18 September 2026 between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and until 1:00 pm on Friday.
- The deadline for the receipt of bids is Friday, 18 September 2026, at 1:00 pm GMT. 5. Bids will be opened on 21 September 2026 by the bid committee at the above address. 6. The successful bidder must deposit the bid amount into the Helen Keller Intl designated
bank account, which Helen Keller Intl will provide. The bidder must then submit the bank payment slip to the Helen Keller Intl Finance Department, which will issue an official receipt. Helen Keller Intl will also issue an official letter, signed by the Country Director, authorizing the collection of the items won.
- Helen Keller Intl reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, cancel the auction process, or withdraw any item from sale at any time before completion of payment and documentation.
- Removal of the items won will be at the successful bidder’s expense. Removal may take place only after all required documentation is completed and must be done no later than 72 hours after completion of documentation.
Bids Submission:
Bids may be submitted in sealed envelopes in the tender box at the Reception of the Helen Keller Intl office (address above).
Alternatively, bids may be submitted by email to SierraLeone.Procurement@hki.org.
Please indicate the relevant lot number and vehicle description on your envelope or in the email subject line, for example: BID for Lot # 1 – Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup Van. Failure to do so may disqualify your bid.
Bids will be evaluated by lot, and the an award will normally be made to the highest responsive bidder for each lot, subject to the completion of payment and the required documentation.
