Job Description

VACANCY NOTICE 

A reputable financial institution is looking for an experienced Information Systems Auditor

Position:       Information Systems Auditor 

 

Direct Report: Head, Internal Audit

 

Regular/Routine

  • Performs review of Information Technology applications and other computer information systems
  • Performs information control reviews of system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
  • Performs Information and Cybersecurity reviews of existing applications and systems under development.
  • Conduct operational and system-based investigations.
  • Conduct E-business investigations activities (Cards, Web, & ATM Services)
  • Conduct E-Transaction Monitoring/Review
  • Identify critical risks and recommend corrective steps to address the risks.
  • Prepares audit plan, working papers for assigned audits, spot-checks and investigations.
  • Ensuring quality and timely investigations and audit reports.
  • Follow up on investigation and audit recommendations.
  • Perform Income/Revenue assurance validation and reporting on system generated income and e-business products.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Head, Internal Audit. 

 

SPECIFICATIONS:

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Business related discipline 

  • Any of these ISACA (final) certifications is a must – CISA, CISM or CRISC

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good background in Information Technology
  • Good knowledge of Information & Cyber Security Risk
  • Good knowledge in Electronics business transactions
  • Familiar with the requirement of the PCI-DSS
  • Ability to use and perform hands on SQL for report generation
  • Good knowledge of various Core Banking Applications and other audit tools will be an added advantage
  • Good presentation and writing skill
  • At least 3 years’ experience in IS Audit in the Banking sector is a must
  • Consulting experience is an added advantage but not compulsory
  • Good knowledge of ATM cards, payment schemes and switch transaction processing is an added advantage.
