DISPOSAL NOTICE

Plan International Sierra Leone hereby informs the public of the sale of used vehicles.

 CONDITIONS OF SALE:

  1. Each item would be awarded to the highest bidder;
  2. All items are to be sold on an “as is where is and what is” basis and without recourse or warranties of any kind;
  3. A bidder can bid for more than one item. Each bid should be in a separate envelope;
  4. Prospective bidders can inspect the items on open days from 17th April to 6th May 2024 within the hours of 10:00 am to 03:00 pm.  Location of items are at our Country Office, 6 Cantonment Road Off King Harman Road, Freetown.
  5. The bid documents can be collected on working days from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm from any of the Plan International offices listed below; or request electronic copy by sending request for bid forms for disposal reference “SLE/DISP005/FY24”  to PlanSLE.procurement@plan-international.org​   
  6. Bids should be valid for the period of 45 days from the date of the submission deadline;
  7. Bid winners are required to pay for items within 5 working days after notification of winning; 
  8. Notified winners, who fail to pay for the ITEM won within 5 working days, will forfeit the item and will be offered to the next highest bidder;
  9. Successful bidder must lift items within ten (10) days from the day of issue of award letter. Successful bidders of vehicles should proceed to pay all customs clearance processes within this period and provide evidence to Plan before authorization is given to lift item;
  10. Bids not properly addressed, without the use of the official bid forms, or submitted after the stated deadline will be invalidated; 
  11. Bids should be delivered no later than 4.00pm on Thursday 6th May 2024. Bid should be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “SLE/DISP005/FY24”, and could be submitted to any of the below addresses;
